EPL Cashier

Job Summary:

The EPL Cashier is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and serve guests in a friendly and courteous manner, taking orders and handling payments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Point of Sale Operations: Operate the point of sale system to process transactions, manage cash and credit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient service, maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness, and support the overall success of the restaurant.
• Cash Handling: Count and manage cash, process credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and cash handling.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations for food handling and sanitation.

Requirements:

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
• Math Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

The EPL Cashier will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to heat, steam, and noise. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment is essential.
