Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Community Association Attorney to join our busy Community Association practice. The ideal candidate will reside and work from any of the following counties in Florida: Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, or Flagler, Clay, and Putnam. The candidate must be willing to occasionally work from the Orlando office as needed for special events and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and modify contracts
  • Interpret and draft amendments to governing documents
  • Conduct case law research
  • Draft amendments to governing documents
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Prepare for and attend board member meetings
  • Review community association issues and draft legal opinions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Community Association/HOA practice
  • Significant review of legal documents via electronic review platform
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and document management system (iManage preferred)
  • Membership in the Florida Bar
