About the Role

Zebra Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our DevSecOps team for the EMC division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring it meets our standards for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software solutions.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with team members to find solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud security, vulnerability scanning, and cryptography.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing tools like Git, GitHub, Gerrit, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • GCP certification.
  • Cybersecurity certifications.
  • Cloud experience.
