Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency situations and calls, and ensure prompt and effective response.
- Conduct regular patrols of the campus, including buildings and grounds, to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Monitor and control access to the campus, including exterior doors and vehicle traffic.
- Challenge and report any unauthorized individuals on campus property.
- Collaborate with on-call personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related events.
- Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance requests through the WorxHub software program.
- Provide non-emergency residential services and maintenance support as needed.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in security or a related field.
- Current state driver's license (CDL preferred) and a good driving record.
- First aid certification and experience in emergency medical situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good observational skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions.
- For California candidates, must maintain a valid and current California Security License.
