Battery Handler

Cirba Solutions US Inc is a leading provider of battery solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Battery Sorter to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll be responsible for identifying and sorting batteries based on their chemistry and type. You'll also be responsible for taping the terminals of the batteries and packing them in bags and boxes.

We're committed to employee development and will provide opportunities for training and growth. Our 2nd Shift operates from 4pm to 12am.

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following warehouse safety procedures and processes
• Identify and sort batteries by chemistry and type
• Tape the terminals/ends of batteries
• Sort out debris and non-conforming material
• Store batteries and non-conforming material in drums
• Label drums according to regulations and guidelines
• Weigh and document material
• Perform general cleaning tasks
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations
• Stand or sit for most of the shift
• Operate a forklift to transfer material (at some locations)
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Teamwork and communication skills

We require a High School Diploma or GED for this role.

Please note that this is a 2nd Shift position, operating from 4pm to 12am.
