Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and lead occupational therapy treatment programs to improve patient function and mobility.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current occupational therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
  • Ability to travel to multiple facilities and locations as needed.
