Certified Group is seeking a highly skilled Microbiology Technician to join our team. As a Microbiology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmentals. You will apply approved microbiological techniques and methodologies used in analytical testing.
Responsibilities:- Prepare samples for analytical and microbiological testing
- Apply approved microbiological techniques and methodologies
- Conduct quality control checks on samples and testing equipment
- Maintain accurate records of testing results and sample handling
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient testing and sample handling
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Life Science or two years of laboratory experience
- Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a food testing laboratory
- Ability to travel is preferred
