Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will collaborate with Physicians and other Cardiovascular Lab personnel to prepare the Cath Lab for procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recognizing and recording cardiac pressure forms and thermodynamic parameters.
- Performing cardiac thermodynamic calculations and reporting any abnormal values to the physician.
- Reviewing and updating procedure logs immediately after each case.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Vocational School Graduate.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT), Certified Cardiographic Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
