Job Summary:

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate X-ray Equipment: Safely and effectively operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians.
  • Position and Instruct Patients: Position and instruct patients prior to examination, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Adjust Equipment and Determine Exposure: Adjust X-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
Requirements:
  • Education and Work Experience: Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification, Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure in the state of practice, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Essential Functions:
  • Screening Procedures: Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important findings to physicians.
  • Quality Control: Verify exams on PACS and ensure high-quality images are produced.
