Our inviting campus features a range of senior living options, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and advanced rehabilitation services.

I. POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Admissions Manager will evaluate potential residents and facilitate their entry into the Facility. This role serves as the Facility's representative within the community and will promote the services offered. The Admissions Manager will also gather and relay information to relevant staff regarding all new residents.

Upholds the facility's Standards of Conduct and embodies the Core Values of Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity, and Dedication.

Accurately and honestly represents Weinberg Campus. Acts with integrity and prioritizes the best interests of Weinberg Campus. Identifies non-compliance issues and takes appropriate measures, including reporting any violations. Adheres to Facility policies and regulations. All business relationships are conducted in the best interest of Weinberg Campus, free from gifts, favors, or other improper inducements.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluates, interviews, and assesses potential residents and their representatives to determine their suitability and eligibility for placement, including financial considerations.
  • Completes all necessary admission and readmission documentation, including applications, prior to placement.
  • Provides information to applicants, their families, and referring medical professionals regarding admission to the Facility.
  • Establishes and maintains communication with Insurance Representatives and Social Services Agencies to ensure payment processing.
  • Conducts daily visits to local hospitals and maintains a regular schedule for visiting hospitals, doctors' offices, and community organizations.
  • Coordinates prospective admissions with the Admissions Committee, which includes the Director of Nursing and Administration.
  • Arranges and conducts tours or ensures that someone is available to do so.
  • Participates in all required in-services and meetings.
  • Engages in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
III. ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Answering phones, balancing figures, compiling statistics, and composing letters/memorandums.
  • Coordinating events/meetings, inputting data into computer systems, and interviewing others.
  • Maintaining resident records, proofreading documents, researching information, and scheduling appointments.
  • Proficient use of calculators, clinical computer systems, fax machines, personal computers, and photocopiers.
IV. REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret data through graphs.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret various documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
V. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

AAS (Associate in Applied Sciences) Degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

License/Certification:

Valid, current RN License (Preferred)

Valid, current Social Work License (Preferred)

Experience:

Six (6) months to One (1) year of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

VI. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Manual dexterity and mobility.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Ability to handle various physical tasks and work in unpredictable situations.
