We serve domestic and international clients in all areas of corporate and business law, complex litigation, intellectual property, regulatory matters, and government affairs.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial litigation, e-filings, and document review. You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing subpoenas and deposition notices;
  • Coordinating and handling filings in electronic and paper format, in state and federal courts;
  • Requesting records, medical records, and authorizations;
  • Preparing record and deposition summaries;
  • Drafting form pleadings and form discovery;
  • Citing checking and Shepardizing legal memoranda;
  • Creating and maintaining databases for case and document management;
  • Preparing spreadsheets and tracking discovery requests;
  • Organizing and supervising document productions;
  • Coordinating depositions and trials;
  • Meeting the firm's billable hours expectation;
  • Attending and assisting at trial, arbitration, and mediation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree;
  • Two to five years of substantive commercial litigation experience within a law firm;
  • Experience with e-filings in state and federal courts and/or working with other legal professionals;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel;
  • Outstanding organizational, administrative, and communication skills;
  • Possess high attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and self-motivation;
  • Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, efficiently multi-task, and produce high-end work product;
  • A team-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion;
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and travel.
