Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Security Engineer to join Northeading Technologies' team.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of network infrastructure: Develop and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting: Configure and troubleshoot network devices and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network monitoring and maintenance: Continuously monitor network performance and identify potential issues, implementing solutions to resolve them promptly.
  • Security measures: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects and initiatives, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Professional development: Stay current with the latest network technologies and security best practices, applying this knowledge to improve network infrastructure and security.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Networking and Security, with a strong background in designing and implementing network infrastructure.
  • Strong technical skills: Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and in-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs).
  • Certifications: CCNP certification is required, with preference given to those holding additional certifications such as CISSP or CCIE.
