Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist in our Orthopedic Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical and diagnostic imaging functions under the direction of a provider or radiologist.
  • Provide timely and quality services to patients, interacting with them to welcome, explain, and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure.
  • Complete procedures in compliance with physician orders, regulatory requirements, and department guidelines.
  • Room patients and manage patient flow, identifying patients with two identifiers and documenting all necessary aspects of the procedure.
  • Maintain a safe patient environment in the procedure area and perform procedures with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas, and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others.
Requirements
  • Vocational or Technical Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 0-2 years of experience in Radiology.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire, Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire.
