Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough multi-point safety inspections on all pre-owned vehicles.
  • Engage in ethical discussions regarding repairs with the internal service advisor.
  • Execute tasks as specified in the repair order with precision and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to secure necessary components and pricing.
  • Document all performed work and recommendations on the repair order.
  • Relay additional service requests to the service advisor.
  • Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor.
  • Monitor repair timelines and keep the service advisor updated.
  • Adhere strictly to dealership policies concerning vehicle care and operation.
  • Stay current with all required training to maintain certifications.
  • Ensure cleanliness in the work area.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.

Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Willingness and desire to continuously enhance mechanical skills.
  • ASE Certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:
Compensation is based on experience, with a high earning potential ranging from $20 to $30+ per hour.
