Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UroPartners LLC. as a Float Registered Nurse. This is a part-time opportunity that requires travel throughout our locations.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients in the clinic setting.
  • Facilitate patient care and document all communication into the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Communicate physician treatment plans, including lab/imaging results, to patients and document appropriately within the EMR.
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies, and maintain stock levels.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on health education and disease prevention topics.
  • Develop health improvement programs.
  • Engage in continuous learning and adjust application knowledge, skills, and abilities to address new challenges.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years' experience preferred.
  • RN license and certification required by state.
  • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
Working Conditions

Work hours are variable based on patient care needs. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, stoop, and stretch. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and occasional use of other office equipment. Normal range of hearing/eyesight/voice projection required for recording, preparing, and communicating. Physical strength for equipment needs and patient care activities; may require lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting/moving more than 50 pounds. Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs and make constant/frequent judgments/responses to problems. Exposure to noisy equipment, varying and unpredictable situations, high stress/pressure, and emergency or crisis situations. Regular interaction with emotional patients and/or family members. Work is performed in a patient care setting and may involve exposure to infections, communicable diseases, hazardous materials, radiation, laser, waste gases, and blood and body fluids. Frequent exposure to water and chemicals used in disinfection/sterilization processes.
