Job Description:

Eastern Research Group (ERG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Quality Assurance Manager to join our growing corporate quality management program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing quality assurance for several large contracts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QA plans at the contract level
  • Train ERG and subcontractor personnel in contract-specific QA requirements
  • Work with project teams to develop, review, implement, and manage QA plans at the project level
  • Support the development, revision, and review of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Conduct QA assessments to determine QA/QC effectiveness and compliance with contract-specific QA requirements
  • Lead or participate in internal and external quality audits
  • Track QA metrics across multiple contracts and document QA/QC activities
  • Assist in developing and refining contract-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs) and related contract- and project-level quality documents and practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (minimum GPA 3.0)
  • At least five years of relevant experience as a quality manager or in a similar or related role
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead when appropriate
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks, many with tight deadlines, to meet project goals
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience with work that must meet federal (e.g., EPA, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Defense) QA requirements
  • Familiarity with QA standards, systems, processes, and/or tools
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Qualifications or experience in engineering or science disciplines
  • Experience with work and/or quality management under EPA and/or other federal contracts
  • Knowledge of analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving techniques necessary to perform professional scientific/engineering work
