About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Psychiatrist to join our Adult Psychiatric Services unit, which treats primarily Forensic clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with complex mental health needs and a strong commitment to delivering compassionate care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach medical students through our affiliations with nearby medical schools, participate in program development and evaluation, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
* Teach and mentor medical students as part of our educational programs
Requirements:
* A full and unrestricted Missouri medical license is required
* Board certification in Psychiatry is preferred but not mandatory
* Strong clinical skills and experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
