Job Summary:The Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing and medical knowledge, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Order and interpret medical laboratory tests, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications or treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional pushing, pulling, and climbing. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
