General Information
  • Experience Requirements: A minimum of 1.5 years in general nursing is required.
  • Traveler Eligibility: First-time travelers are welcome if they possess over 2 years of experience.
  • Location Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from any Superbeo facility.
  • Rehire Policy: Permanent staff must complete a full year before returning as travelers.
  • Work Hours: Details to be discussed during the interview process.
Patient Care Responsibilities
  • Patient Types: The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide care across various acute care departments.
  • Area of Focus: The RN will typically remain in a designated area throughout their contract, with minimal floating required.
Patient Ratios
  • 1 Clinical Nurse Specialist to 16-20 patients.
Certifications Needed
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
Educational Background
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program is required; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is necessary.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in discharge planning and Acute Care Case Management is crucial, along with the ability to engage with families regarding care plans.
Support Structure
  • Support will be provided by Case Management Assistants, Lead Case Managers, Social Work consultants, Utilization Review RNs, and Hospitalists.
Charting System
  • Familiarity with the EPIC charting system is required.
Orientation Process
  • Orientation will include 1.5 weeks of training and an EPIC class.
