We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Companion to join our team at Trinity Health. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being and happiness of our residents.
Job OverviewThis is a part-time opportunity that offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a Home Health Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and care to our residents, assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as facilitating socialization and engagement activities.
Responsibilities- Promote Optimal Daily Care: Assist residents with personal and oral hygiene, nutrition, exercise, and socialization, ensuring their well-being and happiness.
- Create a Safe and Clean Environment: Encourage residents to care for their personal space and belongings, keeping their rooms tidy and clean.
- Ensure Safety and Quality: Follow all safety, security, and infection control protocols, ensuring the well-being of residents, coworkers, and the facility.
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional service to our residents, exceeding their expectations and ensuring their happiness.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Obtain the necessary knowledge and comprehension skills to excel in your role.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid state-issued driver's license in good standing, enabling you to accompany residents to appointments or functions.
- Multilingual Skills: Ability to read, write, and converse in English; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
- Compassion and Empathy: Show respect for residents' privacy and dignity, providing personal care with a caring touch.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Relate to individuals of diverse backgrounds, cultures, religions, and abilities.
