Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing, and developing systems, processes, and procedures that address complex business requirements.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Gather, review, analyze, and translate business requirements and functions into well-organized systems designs, user stories, and actionable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, product teams, project management teams, engineering teams, and external vendors.
  • Documentation: Create technical documents (flow diagrams, state & sequence diagrams, etc.), as well as processes and procedures documentations.
  • Gap Analysis: Assist with gap identification, gap prioritization, and gap solution design efforts after business requirements gathering and initial systems configuration and systems.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to plan, design, and develop solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Lead efforts to identify areas of improvement in existing business processes and applications.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Develop expertise and become the Subject Matter Expert on the applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues, working with vendors for product support, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing issues to resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server and Cassandra.
  • Strong Experience in data-mapping using XML and JSON.
  • Solid understanding of REST and SOAP API Integrations patterns.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as MS Azure.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams, business teams, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be an organized, self-starter with a collaborative work style and customer service focus.
