Career OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and operating cardiovascular equipment during procedures while ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment.
This position involves collaborating with cardiologists, serving as a preceptor for new staff, and completing essential competencies within a set timeframe. The ideal candidate will have certification in Radiologic Technology and preferably in cardiovascular specialties, alongside Basic and Advanced Life Support training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
The successful candidate will maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please ensure you meet the following qualifications:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
Please note that previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not required.
Compensation Details:
$27.84-$45.46/hour based on previous work experience, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
