Job Description: As a Diesel Engine Repair Expert, you will perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including standard maintenance, preventive maintenance, and complex mechanical inspections & repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
- Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections & repairs
- Replaces defective components as instructed
- Works unsupervised on most tasks
- Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine the nature of complaint
- Utilizes key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available
- Acts as mentor for Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels
Requirements: A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A is preferred. Three (3) years or more relevant work experience is preferred. Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines are necessary.
