- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications using the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
- Electronic Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care using Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
- Patient Education: Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
- Discharge Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care for patients.
- Current NJ RN License: Possess a current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS Certification: Hold American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- BLS/CPR Certification: Maintain active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
- Nursing Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- ICU/ED Experience: Preferably 1 year of experience in an ICU, step-down unit, or Emergency Department.
- Specialized Skills: Possess skills in vent management, telemetry, ICU competency, titratable drugs, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Education: Preferably hold a BSN degree.
- Certification: National certification in the area of specialty or required within 1 year of hire.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and deliver high-quality care based on a strong patient focus.
