Key Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain reusable medical equipment to manufacturer specifications.
  • Assist anesthesia providers in ensuring inventory levels are stocked and up-to-date.
  • Exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and ICARE values, and adhere to Rush policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform daily inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new employees.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of JACHO and IDPH regulations as they apply to anesthesia.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
