Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recruiter to join our team at Goodwill Gulf Coast. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring team members in the donated goods retail department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service, including effective communication with internal and external customers.
  • Confer with Donated Goods location managers and directors to identify employment needs.
  • Notify the Recruitment & Staffing Specialist of requisition status and requests changes as needed.
  • Fully utilize an on-line HRIS/Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software to efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action and other hiring-related laws.
  • Assist with processing background checks on potential employees, verifies applicants' clearance to hire, and sends notifications to appropriate staff and applicants.
  • Participate in agency-sponsored events as needed.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities and keep abreast of HR-related laws, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring required.
  • Administrative experience in staffing required.
  • Experience utilizing an on-line HRIS/Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software preferred.
  • Recruiting or HR experience working with Affirmative Action Plans and OFCCP preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
