About Clovis Community Medical Center:
Since its establishment in 1988, Clovis Community Medical Center has expanded from 109 beds to 352 private patient rooms. It has been recognized as the 'Best Hospital' for nine consecutive years by local residents, making it a preferred choice for women's and children's services, advanced surgical procedures, and comprehensive healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for medical procedures.
- Evaluate laboratory results and patient medical histories.
- Provide education to patients and their families.
- Insert intravenous lines.
- Administer medications, including procedural sedation.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall comfort during procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their care.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Education:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
Licenses and Certifications:
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in procedural sedation, angiography, and specialized procedures is advantageous. Certification as a Radiology Nurse (CRN) or in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) is preferred. A strong background in clinical nursing practice within Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER settings is desirable. Proficiency in circulator duties during invasive procedures, along with sedation and scrub experience, is highly valued.
Additional Information:
This role requires participation in on-call duties during weekdays and some weekends.
