Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team in New Albany, IN. This full-time, onsite position involves working with speech-language pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students, helping them reach their communication goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology assisting and a current SLPA license in Indiana. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. A passion for working with children and excellent communication skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs to conduct speech and language therapy sessions.
  • Implement personalized therapy plans and activities tailored to individual student needs.
  • Document and report on student progress to supervising SLPs.
  • Maintain a supportive and motivating environment for students.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • Current SLPA license in Indiana.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children.
