Job Summary

The Workforce Development Manager is a key role at Surge Staffing, responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in assigned areas. This position requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, business development, and leadership skills to achieve sales targets and build long-term partnerships with clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to secure new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
  • Work closely with field management to plan, conduct, and follow up on sales activities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Collaborate with branch office staff and headquarters teams to enhance product knowledge and implement sales solutions.
  • Analyze prospect requirements and needs to understand how Surge Staffing's products and services can meet these needs and resolve problems.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, prospects, and internal teams.
  • Record all business and sales activity in the company database and complete required activity reports.
  • Respond promptly to customer and prospect inquiries and needs, providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous business development experience, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong leadership skills, initiative, and creativity to identify and convey successful sales techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to various locations, including customer sites and other company offices.
