Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel opportunity. This role involves working four 9-hour shifts during the day, with responsibilities that include:

  • Scrubbing and circulating during procedures
  • Annotating and transmitting images to PACS
Certification Requirements

Candidates must possess the following certifications:

  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (preferred)
Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will perform a variety of procedures in the Interventional Radiology department, including:

  • Lower and upper extremity angiograms
  • Atherectomy
  • Mesenteric and dialysis fistulagram/declot
  • Nephrostomy and biliary tube placements
  • Embolizations and port placements
Work Schedule

This position requires:

  • Call duty for 2 out of 7 weekends
  • Approximately 1 night per week (Monday to Thursday)
Additional Information

Minimum of 1 year of experience is required, with preference given to candidates experienced with Toshiba/Cannon Interventional rooms. A mileage radius of 25 miles applies. Primary source verification is required for all certifications.

AHA certification is mandatory, and EFM is preferred but not required for L&D/OB roles.
