Your role will involve collaboration with fellow engineers, project leaders, and various stakeholders to create designs that ensure the secure operation and upkeep of our energy generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance designs for electricity generation systems.
  • Identify, assess, and procure electrical components such as AC and DC panelboards, switchgear, motor control centers, batteries, chargers, UPS systems, generators, auxiliary equipment, transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, cabling, and other essential systems.
  • Lead the development, modification, and evaluation of generation facility designs, including one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring layouts, physical configurations, and construction specifications.
  • Provide on-site engineering and commissioning assistance throughout the construction and troubleshooting phases.
  • Maintain and update records of electrical equipment, load calculations, and panel configurations.
  • Conduct and review electrical analyses, including load studies, short circuit assessments, low voltage protection evaluations, and arc flash studies.
  • Oversee engineering projects of increasing complexity and scale.
  • Devise innovative solutions and construct a business rationale for their implementation.
  • Address technical inquiries from regulatory bodies or other organizations.
  • Participate in community engagement activities, including volunteer work, involvement with industry groups, or contributions to internal initiatives.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and aspiring professionals in the engineering field.
