Universal Banker

The Universal Banker is a key role within Citigroup Inc, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales expertise to internal and external clients. This position requires a strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provide personalized service to clients, addressing their financial needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, staying up-to-date on new and existing products, and effectively communicating their features and benefits to clients.
• Proactively identify and address client sales and service needs, converting service requests into sales or referrals.
• Utilize digital tools and technology to present product offers and financial solutions to clients, including sales walls, tablets, and smartphones.
• Collaborate with internal partners to provide seamless service and support to clients.
• Take ownership of client complaints and issues, resolving them promptly and effectively to ensure complete client satisfaction.
• Recognize transaction needs of clients, directing them to alternative self-service channels and providing assistance as needed.
• Stay organized and manage multiple priorities, ensuring all follow-up items are complete or handled off to the appropriate individual.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
• Basic computer and digital tools skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.

• Retail experience, with a strong understanding of sales and customer service principles.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
