POSITION STATUS: Part Time (32 hours per week)
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Electrophysiology and Cardiac Catheterization
WORK SCHEDULE: Day/Evening; On-call responsibilities (nights, weekends, & holidays)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enhancing Patient Experience. Actively seek and respond to patient feedback to elevate service quality and improve the overall patient journey.
  • Medication Management & Reporting. Administer medications and communicate relevant information through both written and verbal reports.
  • Patient Care Documentation. Maintain accurate, relevant, and comprehensive patient care records utilizing computerized medical documentation systems.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Associate's Degree in Nursing (Mandatory)

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Medium Work - Requires exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; necessitates frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

SALARY RANGE: $49.00

The stated base pay range reflects a good faith representation of the current potential base pay for a successful full-time candidate. This may be subject to change and is eligible for additional compensation components. Pay is influenced by factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
