Position Summary:

As a Facilities Operations Leader, you will be responsible for directing maintenance activities, coordinating operational tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and prioritize daily maintenance tasks for the maintenance team.
  • Ensure efficient and thorough completion of assigned work orders.
  • Oversee maintenance projects and manage on-site contractors effectively.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to set up emergency maintenance on-call schedules.
  • Assist in all aspects of resort maintenance, including the repair of grounds, facilities, amenities, and utility systems.
  • Perform duties safely, adhering to all safety protocols and utilizing safety equipment appropriately.
  • Comply with health, safety, and OSHA standards in all maintenance operations.
  • Maintain all community vehicles and equipment in proper working order.
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resident and guest areas, issuing reminders and notices as necessary.
  • Participate in the selection of contractors as requested by management.
  • Assist in the Capital Expenditures Program, including budget variance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all company operational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and OSHA regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel frequently.
  • Manual dexterity for operating facility equipment.
  • Clear vision and hearing for effective communication.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
