Facilities Operations Leader

Position Summary:
As a Facilities Operations Leader, you will be responsible for directing maintenance activities, coordinating operational tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Your strong communication and organizational abilities will enable you to supervise daily maintenance functions, ensuring our facilities remain functional and visually appealing, thereby enhancing the experience for both employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and prioritize daily maintenance tasks for the maintenance team.
- Ensure efficient and thorough completion of assigned work orders.
- Oversee maintenance projects and manage on-site contractors effectively.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to set up emergency maintenance on-call schedules.
- Assist in all aspects of resort maintenance, including the repair of grounds, facilities, amenities, and utility systems.
- Perform duties safely, adhering to all safety protocols and utilizing safety equipment appropriately.
- Comply with health, safety, and OSHA standards in all maintenance operations.
- Maintain all community vehicles and equipment in proper working order.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of resident and guest areas, issuing reminders and notices as necessary.
- Participate in the selection of contractors as requested by management.
- Assist in the Capital Expenditures Program, including budget variance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all company operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with standard maintenance tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and OSHA regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel frequently.
- Manual dexterity for operating facility equipment.
- Clear vision and hearing for effective communication.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
