About the Position

We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatric MD/DO for an urgent locum need in Shelby County, TN. This is a 3-6 month contract opportunity with a 4-day workweek.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide psychiatric care to adult patients in a prison/correctional setting. The ideal candidate must be Board Certified, possess BLS and DEA licenses, and hold a valid TN medical license. Additionally, they must undergo credentialing within 30 days.


Requirements
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license
  • TN medical license
  • Credentialing within 30 days

Contract Details

This is a fixed-term contract lasting between 3-6 months, with a 4-day workweek. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with their experience and qualifications.


Estimated Salary

Ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 per annum, depending on the individual's level of experience and qualifications.
