Position Overview
A Clinical Trials Research Associate (CTRA) I role is available within the Cancer Clinical Trials Office at the Tisch Cancer Institute.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will engage in various tasks, including but not limited to:

  1. Gathering and documenting research data; entering all relevant information into the database.
  2. Under the direct guidance of the Principal Investigator(s), securing informed consent and educating participants about study protocols.
  3. Assisting with clinical research activities, which may include answering inquiries, screening candidates for eligibility, registering participants with the sponsoring organization, and administering lifestyle assessments.
  4. Maintaining source documents and participant files in compliance with institutional protocols; ensuring thorough and accurate compilation of participant data through chart reviews.
  5. Managing the collection, delivery, and shipment of clinical specimens as dictated by study protocols.
  6. Preparing for monitoring visits and ensuring all necessary documentation is organized.
  7. Facilitating the coordination and management of clinical trials, including communication with sponsors.
  8. Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline or a closely related field is required. Candidates should possess 1-2 years of research experience, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
