The Taxation Supervisor will oversee the operations of the tax department, maintain client communications, mentor junior accountants, and prepare and review intricate tax returns for S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and individual clients.
This role involves executing tax planning and strategies to optimize deductions and enhance clients' financial positions, as well as liaising with tax authorities on relevant issues.
This is a full-time, year-round opportunity.

Required Competencies:
Possess a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses, including the ability to analyze financial statements and identify tax-saving opportunities. Clearly articulate tax issues to clients and devise actionable tax-saving strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- CPA or EA designation is mandatory.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a certified public accountant.
- Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office; familiarity with Thomson Reuters software is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
