We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our obstetrical unit.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients, based on identified needs and problems, in collaboration with patients and their significant others.
- Assure the implementation of prescribed medical regimens and accurate processing of physicians' orders.
- Document patients' responses to nursing plans of care in all areas of the medical record, in compliance with established nursing standards and protocols.
- Prioritize and coordinate all nursing care, as defined by and provided throughout the hospital.
- Graduate of a school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree or diploma.
- Active Florida RN license.
- At least one year of experience in an area of Obstetrical/Perinatal Nursing.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required after 90 days.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
