Job Summary:

ECC is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee project sites in the US and/or overseas for liquid fuels maintenance (LFM) repairs to Department of Defense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities. This position requires extensive travel, up to 90% of the time, to project sites, including international locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the project team, Health and Safety Officer, and Quality Control Officer for task prioritization
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements
• Attend in-briefs and out-briefs
• Implement field activities and tasks preparatory to field activities
• Assist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives
• Contribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges
• Assist in identifying task-specific equipment to achieve task objectives
• Operate equipment as needed
• Assume the role of team lead to maintain compliance with project work plans and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

• Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems
• Ability to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activities
• Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements
• Two years of progressively responsible experience on environmental or construction projects
• Knowledge of scheduling and budgeting for large construction projects
• DoD POL Fuels construction superintendent experience

Travel:
Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time domestically and internationally

Education:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
