Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

CrossMed is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician or other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with procedures and surgeries as needed, and provide post-operative care to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery nursing.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
