Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Summit BHC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical equipment repair.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
  • Complete work orders and hazard reports in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Report and fix equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, as well as all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc.
  • Ensure that maintenance supplies are ordered and properly stored.
  • Assist in maintaining parking lots, sidewalks, lawn care, and landscaping as needed.
  • Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm systems, and lighting systems.
  • Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored.
  • Assist with ongoing compliance with fire and disaster drills and actual situation preparedness.
  • Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange furniture for facility functions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least three years' experience in maintenance or facility operations required; healthcare facility preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard and safe maintenance practices, procedures, and tools in the general building/maintenance trades.
  • Certification or licensure in a trade such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, etc. preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license (if required by state and facility).
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification may be required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
