About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DSP Software Engineer to join our team at Aleron. As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate in a dynamic environment to conceptualize, design, implement, and troubleshoot embedded communication systems software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply communication theory and digital signal processing methodologies to create innovative software solutions.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers to conceptualize, design, implement, and troubleshoot embedded communication systems software.
  • Develop software solutions that meet the requirements of our clients in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Work closely with customers and vendors to ensure that our software solutions meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience implementing complex DSP algorithms in software.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in FPGA design with software development.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in modulation, demodulation, digital filters, baseband sampling, acquisition, tracking algorithms, and Forward Error Correction (FEC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in C++ and object-oriented software design.
  • Expertise in software design for testability.
  • Laboratory expertise in debugging techniques using digital scopes, logic analyzers, and other complex measurement equipment.
  • Experience with electronic warfare concepts or techniques.
  • Experience with FPGA soft processor cores.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Familiarity with Git.
What We Offer
  • $110/hour.
  • 9/80 Work Schedule (1st Shift).
  • Temp to Direct (11 Months).
