Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Regency at Lansing West, a leading provider of skilled nursing and senior care services. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat residents with breathing disorders, including those with chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct routine clinical care, including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and respiratory medication delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain life support systems, including oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program.
  • Current CPR certification.
