Job Summary:

This role directs and provides nutrition care to patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring. The successful candidate will provide education to patients and staff, and develop and monitor nutritional plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized patient assessments and reassessments to develop personalized nutrition plans.
  • Develop, document, and monitor nutritional plans of care for patients, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Provide education and training to patients and staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Perform documentation and complete reports according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement tools to improve nutrition care for patients, staff, and the community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) certification, or eligibility to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) certification, or eligibility to obtain within nine months of hire.
  • Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
  • Experience in obesity medicine or a related field.
