Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Meet the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort, and safety needs of patients.
  • Obtain and report vital signs, perform urine reductions, transport patients, and obtain supplies/equipment as necessary.
  • Individualize patient care using age-related concepts based on the unit population assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, maintain a safe environment, and use medical equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
