We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Receiver to join our team at the Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our property's interior and exterior spaces.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting and coating applications by cleaning, scraping, wire brushing, steam cleaning, or abrasive blast cleaning as needed.
• Apply under and finish coats of paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other equipment to achieve a smooth and even finish.
• Mix paints and other coatings to ensure color consistency and match existing coatings.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Examine finished surfaces to verify conformance to specifications and retouch any defective areas.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and hazardous materials as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in painting, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs., including carrying weight up and down stairs.
