Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist is a critical member of our team at Eurofins USA Environment Testing, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • External Audits: Assist with external audits conducted by clients and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  • QC Record Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of quality control records, certifications, and other relevant documentation.
  • SOP Review and Revision: Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Training and Development: Maintain training records, including Demonstrations of Capability (DOCs) for all analysts, and ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor new regulations and communicate them to the laboratory, ensuring compliance with agency-specific requirements.
  • Systematic Problem-Solving: Identify and recommend resolutions for ongoing or recurring nonconformance within the laboratory.
  • Customer Complaints: Track customer complaints and assist in identifying improvements to our services.
  • MDL Studies: Oversee and review MDL studies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Control Charts and LIMS: Generate control charts, control limits, and update Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) as needed.
  • Equipment Calibration: Perform or arrange for calibration of laboratory support equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.

Additional Responsibilities: As assigned by the QA Manager, the Quality Assurance Specialist may be responsible for conducting group meetings, performing data audits, and assisting with client inquiries.
