Overview of the Role

Vibra Travels is currently seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist to join their team in Houston, Texas.

About the Position

This 8- or 13-week travel position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
  • Administer various forms of therapy, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and modalities, to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate them about treatment plans, progress, and any necessary follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment
  • One year of experience as a PT required
  • A strong background in acute care and rehabilitation hospitals preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
