Executive Chef

The Residences at Greer, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking an experienced Full-Time Cook to join our team in Greer, SC.

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

• Prepare and serve nutritious, attractive meals for residents, maintaining cleanliness of the food production and service areas.
• Adhere to a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Plan and organize food preparation tasks, ensuring timely meal delivery and sanitation standards.
• Supervise Kitchen Assistants and report any issues to the Food Service Director or Executive Director.
• Perform clean-up duties after each meal service and maintain kitchen and food service areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Ensure accurate accounting of resident, staff, and guest meals according to established procedures.

• Desire to work with the elderly in an environment prioritizing their privacy, dignity, and well-being.
• Ability to prepare and service a wide range of foods skillfully, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Organizational skills and ability to utilize time effectively to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift more than 50 pounds, and spend long periods standing.
• High School Diploma/GED required; additional certifications preferred.
