Job Summary

As the Assembly Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our assembly team. This includes cleaning, prepping, assembling, and performing miscellaneous shop duties as required. You will also direct and train assembly personnel to ensure the highest level of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct assembly personnel to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Maintain daily workstation schedules and monitor employee output to ensure labor standards are met.
  • Review and approve daily time records and maintain ISO training records for all employees.
  • Support and follow all training provided by the Safety engineer and ensure all employees comply with safety policies and protocols.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition approved supplies as required.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in the work area and maintain 5S boards and related programs.
  • Provide draft performance reviews and provide day-to-day discipline as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of assembly supervisory experience required.
  • Able to read tape measure and blueprints.
  • Experience with overhead crane, ratchet straps, rubber hammer, stencil, tape measure, hand tools, and cleaning equipment.
  • Experienced in providing training to new and/or existing employees.
  • Knowledge of ISO training record keeping preferred.
Travel Requirements

Occasional field travel may be required.
